Looks like you had a great launch.

The best I could do was 12 flat at 124 mph. I was launching at 3000 RPM and slipping the clutch.
What I noticed with the 3.73 gears..... The car is easier to launch, no more bogging. I did a few launches before I changed the gears and bogged the car if I didn't get the balance between throttle squeeze and clutch just right.

I will try 3500-4000 Launches next time.... As I have said before ...This Car Does Not Disappoint!!!!!

F's right! Great race.

I couldn't break into the 11's either. Similar trap speed. Best I ran last month was 12.23 @ 122 mph. First time at the track too, bone stock. Bogged like hell.

The launch is everything.

Thanks ViperPete.....I spent many hours reading & learning from guys like Nine Ball, FLATOUT & pdv25 on how to launch, drive & mod the car.

I will be going back in September, I will share my results.

Here is another race from that day from the starting line....video cut off at the end.

You're off to a great start and I do expect the 3.73's to help you get that car out of the hole more consistantly. When the weather starts to cool off and you start trapping a bit higher you'll start making the power to go with your improved 60's.

You can't underestimate the hours of practice it takes to run great times at any level or type of racing. Nineball and I must have had 100's if not 1,000 passes down the 1/4 in our younger days. I'm still rusty when I haven't run in awhile.

lucky for me before I left I gave ole Dick Winkes a call to get some advice and tips. I didn't do hardly anything he suggested though. I was wayyyy too lazy and it was 90 degrees out even at 10pm. When I revisit the track, i'll use his recommendations.
