View Full Version : DRL/Running Lights Not Working

Had my Viper in the shop last week, and the tech performed the BCM and Instrument Panel update. I noticed after taking the car home that the running lights were no longer working. I went back to the dealer, and the tech went through the WiTech and the car trying to see if this was something that accidentally turned off, but was unable to find anything. Has anyone else encountered this? The light switch is in the auto position, but cycling through everything doesn't turn them on unfortunately. Other than that, the car is normal.

I believe there's an option on the Settings screen on the center touch panel where you can turn them on/off.

I should just trade this POS in on a 2500, and call it a day :D

It should have a screen in the center stack to turn DRL's on and off. If it is not on the screen the dealer had to do a quick upload to get it back. Mine came new with out it on the screen and they were never on.

Same here, but Mine doesn't have the option. 13 GTS. Any other ideas?

take it into the dealer for a quick reflash. There is a service bulletin out for this issue.

Haha yep we reflashed the Sewells GTS on Friday and fixed the DRL's

Now Andy, you need to be a bit more specific here! Morgan didn't reflash just a GTS . . . he reflashed Medusa #1!!!!!

Richard will be bringing his GTS in for that later this week . . . after he brings his race car in for Morgan to sort out what the hell is wrong with it!
