Got a good deal on a new Gen V SRT with track pack, black interior, black leather wrapped Sabelt seats, red seat belts. Going to do a few things to it before I take it out on the track. I can't wait. Merry Christmas..:D

Thank's Bruce . Power wise they're about the same. The ACR is just a track monster "out of the box". You have the big aero front and back, fully adjustable compression + rebound KW race coilovers,and the sport cup tires.The only other thing I'm doing is upgrading the front brakes with Stoptech 6 piston caliper + 15 inch two piece rotor. This will also be one of the upgrades that I will do to the Gen V.. IMO the Viper's only weakness is the brakes..

As one of the lowly members of this club, seeing one person's garage with multiple Vipers just makes my brain explode :) Don't know how you guys do it, but that's an amazing collection. Congrats!

Oh damn Lee, you are full of surprises! I thought you were going to hold out for a TA. I think this was an excellent choice, and very close in lap times to the TA. There was a time when I was ready to cancel my order for the Stryker Red because it was so late. I nearly bought a red Track Pack SRT. My plan was to slap MCS coilovers and the carbon aero package. You also have the option of upgrading to TA sway bars. I believe that config would beat the TA. Here I am already upgrading some else's car, LOL. It's going to be so good bone stock, you won't need to do a thing to it but drive the wheels off. Brake upgrade will be interesting to see, hopefully you'll get a before/after impression and share it with us. Also very curious how it will compare to your ACR on track. Speacking of tracks...

A proposal for you - If you decide to take this to Buttonwillow Dec 21 - 22, I'll leave the Camaro at home and take my Viper as well.

To meet sound that's the only reason why I leave my motors bonestock. The Gen V's exhaust is raspier. So my friend is going to fabricate for me a turn pipe for the passenger side..

Getting started to prep the V. Clear bra protection for the track,and the coilovers arrived. I can't wait to install these so I can lower the car first ,and then get a track alignment done . Not to mention testing,and adjusting the shock settings while out on the track.. :dude3: :bth_smiley_formula1
