serpent

A good buddy of mine at work asked if I have ever driven a viper considering how I like it so much. The answer is no, but I would love to drive one.
Can anyone in the bay area help me out? I found a site that actually let's people rent owner's rides: https://relayrides.com/car-rental/san-jose/dodge-viper/75116
Not sure I went to fork over $375 yet. I am 30, I currently drive a 2013 mustang GT, 6 speed. I know it isn't the same, but I have been driving a manual since I was 17. I've also driven in Laguna and Sonoma on a shifter kart at least 6-7 times each. I really want to experience the viper, not joy riding but just see how the ride is, freeway driving on weekends. Please post in this thread for some input or send me a PM.
I am tempted to pay to drive a vert for a day, but my heart is set up a coupe, 2006-2010. The gen V will probably be 4 years down the line.... if I'm lucky!
