I guess I'll ask...why have you had three TAs already?

His first died, 2nd was the replacement for lemon law'ing it.

Not quite but close. First one (orange) suffered an engine failure. Local dealer in CT refused to fix the car under warranty and even had their zone rep put a block on my warranty even though the car was bone stock! Then, right around this same time the whole voucher thing was announced and I came to find out I wasn't getting a $15,000 voucher check because the original selling dealer in OH pulled some shady shit by selling me a "new" TA that was actually used since it was first sold to the owner of the dealership to meet their monthly sales numbers. He wound up getting my voucher check. My retail buyer's agreement even had "NEW" checked so they didn't have a legal leg to stand on. After contacting FCA and SRT, the dealer in OH wanted to resolve the matter amicably. They started off by offering me a brand new white TA for my blown up orange one and $5K. I declined. Then they offered a straight up trade which I also declined. They finally offered me $5,000 and the brand new white TA which I accepted. I then sold the car to member Junkie on here and had been looking for a good deal on an orange one until I eventually found that car about a month ago. I'm finally back in the car that I wanted all along. The first thing I did was change the oil. For anyone reading this with a low mileage 2013-2014 Viper who hasn't yet changed their oil, a little birdie told me it would be a wise thing to do. Even if your car has only a hundred or so miles on it...

SO, now that you own one again.... will you still be telling everyone that they aren't worth anything and that $80K is fair market value on them? Just curious.

Where'd you buy it and exactly what did you pay for it? I'd really like to know where you found it for under $80K too!!

Thanks guys, I must say that with only 750 KM on the odo, I'm almost afraid to drive it! The car is just too perfect without a single imperfection that I could find. I put 5000+ hard miles on my last orange TA in about 4 months and wound up with a few paint chips, scratches, etc. Don't want that happening to this one!

It will, any driven car will get scratches, chips, etc. X-pel wrap it, take care of it, and you can minimize, but it will happen You bought the car to drive. Take care if it as best you can, but enjoy it!

Cool. How much did you pay for it?

I have not. I'm using the recommended Pennzoil Ultra 0W40.

The most important thing, however, is to get the factory fill out of there.

The owner of the dealership got it and I believe used it to buy one of his in stock Viper models so that he could collect the $15K. He'll probably sell it to someone else as "new" again. Really shady business practices but they did come through in the end on my deal (probably because they were afraid of getting into trouble with FCA).
