i've always been interested in white letter tires for a performance car and found this place online and wa la. i definitely could have done a better job on the install, super glue can get awful tricky.

I think it looks good with the white stripes. Do you think they'll hold up during use and weather?

With the industrial strength rubber super glue I can't imagine them coming off. Check out the link to their website, I posted it in my original post. This is a legit product.

There was discussion about this lately. Whether people liked it or not. I actually dig it. I think it came out well. I didn't know you had to super glue them on though. I thought they came with their own adhesive backing.
Did you take any pics of install? Or rather, have someone take pics?
I like the look. Particularly on a "clean" looking car like yours. I think you could even de-badge the GTS of you wanted for a really sleek look. Either way, I like them.

I like it! They need to do the ACR logo in special section. Would be all over that!

That super glue looks like a royal PITA. They need to come up with some kind of adhesive backing

I got these too but have been hesitating. Did you sand your tire down before adhering the decals?

Here I just laid them on. I'd only do the small Pirelli decal 11504

I'm not sure they would "work" with my car. I do like the one's pictured here, but the white of the logo goes with the white car, or the black car with white stripes. I think it would stick out like a sore thumb on my car, and doing the lettering in red so it would match seems a little overkill. Nice job on these ones though.

I spoke with the owner and they can print almost any logo. Just up load it on their website.

The kit came with sand paper and yes I did follow the instructions but I only roughed up the surface after spraying the degreaser.

Thanks, yellow lettering would look hot on you red Viper.

Not sure why anyone would want to spend $130 to be a rolling ad for a tire manufacturer with some inflatable raft material and super glue. Screams "trying too hard".

Wow, putting white letters on my tires is trying too hard...
If you are not sure why I would spend $130 on white letters for my tires let me simply say because I like the look. Thanks again for your post!

Was just speaking in general. If you like the look on your car that's all that matters.

Lol..."speaking in general"....I needed a laugh...sounded pretty direct.....couldn't resist! :fpopcorn:
I've seen tire sidewall decals for years. I think in the right application they look pretty cool. Like yours with the stripes, it works well. Bike guys do them too. Also seen them used by guys doing poker and rally runs, things like that.

Yeah, with white stripes those really work somehow. I think they look good on TWolf's all-white also.. A little more track-look. I definitely don't think it would work on a convertible so I won't be following suit haha.

"Because race car" fits these perfectly. I could see myself getting a set of ACR rims and tires and doing this. I had raised white letter tires on my cars growing up so in certain cases I think it works. And here it works. Nice job!

I've been on the fence about these for a long time now, but after looking at them on here I think it is going to be my next little purchase and I will wait for the NEW tires to be installed then I will put them on.

I agree with OP, I always liked the look of white lettered tires on performance cars. Hastens back to the 60s Muscle Cars. Back in the day I used a latex paint stick that they used to sell at auto stores for this purpose. Problem was it used to yellow in time and you would have to touch it up. And it was hard to put on neatly.

Just noticed on the tirestickers.com website they mention reflective material as a potential option. If you're going to bling, that might actually look cool at night.
If nothing else, you'd probably be the only dude on the block with a reflective tire sticker, lol.

I dig it on race cars but not stanced "show" cars. I prefer just the brand name though. I did it on my autox set-up.

Just another way to personalize your car. Not sure I'd do it, but it's different and unique for now. Kinda has a NASCAR flavor to it.

I remember those! I had them on my '83 Camaro. Back when Mustangs were the enemy. Back when I though 245 was a wide rear tire. LOL

Do the letters come pre-curved to match the diameter of the tire? What part of the tire did you install them on? There is a lot of other stuff on the sidewall. Are they meant to go over the existing Pirelli writing?

KB this look awesome because the lettering matches your stripes. I don't think I could pull it off on my no stripe adrenaline red car though.
