SRT's response about my black gas door inquiry.

I have seen nothing but the polished gas doors on the Gen 5's (including the TA 2.0's), except for a couple of custom ones done. However, a proud new owner on here (ddomnator1) took delivery of his y'orange TA 2.0 (#11) that came with a black gas door. So I sent an Email off to SRT and just got a response. "This must have been a factory option". LOL!

Well, this is new to me, cause as far as I know is that the only 2 options on the 2.0's have been 2 wheel finishes and 3 body colors. So can anyone shed some light on this? did they do a switch in the middle of the 15 production and start using the the 16 ACR black gas doors?

I would love to get rid of mine... Need to look into how hard it is to remove and just do it myself.

Hey man!! Lol. That's a great response huh? Def didn't make that an option that's for sure. Just picked her up tonight . Dealer unsure too. Lol. Very nice, ddominator1, and at least one of us landed the factory black gas door "OPTION"!

I guess you guys got the now rarer silver gaz cap. It seems they put black gaz cap on TA's now...
