Went out last week to move the cars around and after pulling the car out to get it on the lift to do an oil change in just slowly lost rpm from an idle and died. Tried to restart and got it to start for a brief 10 seconds then it stumbled again and died. From that point if you hit the starter it would fire for a second and die when you let off. From then on the started just spins with no firing of any cylinders.
So my mechanic comes over an plugs in and there is probably 10 codes thrown. One that concerns me was it said it was not communicating with the venom controller. So the car only had a 1/4 tank of gas. It has not been driven since the 16th of April. So I go out and got 5 gallons fresh fuel and to no avail it does not start.
Yesterday mechanic is back and got everything comunnicating, he said it had to relearn some stuff. He got it running for about 5 - 10 minutes and it just died.
Now it will just spin the starter again.

Here are the particulars:
2009 coupe
Belanger headers and exhaust
Mopar performance controller
New optima red battery in March.
On a battery tender.

Any ideas?

Do you have the Arrow updated software on your Mopar PCM?

Just to cover a common problem (may not be yours)...you might consider measuring battery voltage before you try to start it again.

I'd look over everything carefully for burned wires, especially around the headers. May or may not be your issue, but wouldn't be the first time headers have cooked wiring on a Viper.

No arrow flash yet. Just standard mopar controller. Bought a Bosch OBD 1200 tool to get the codes off of it. Is this Bosch product any good?

OBD is a universal standard, so it should work just fine for pulling the codes. There might be one or two that'll come up ambiguous, but it should give you the gist of what's going on.

Have you checked the ASD fuse to see if it's blown?

What is the ASD fuse.

ASD fuse was ok. So I kept turning on the ignition and realized the fuel pump would only energize once every 6 or 7 times. So off to Autozone to get two replacement ASD relays. Installed them and the car fires up first time and runs for five minutes. So I shut it down and the car took another multiple tries to start but at least it is starting now, since it was dead before. So I then put one of the old relays in the fuel pump relay spot and it fires up continuously no problem. Could it be possibly I had multiple bad relays?
