Now that some have ordered the 'light' and others :web_driver: are patiently waiting for the Extreme to become available, what, other than factory options, are the extras you guys are considering ?
I would think the no brainers would be:
- PCM
- Headers and exhaust (what set up ?)
Possible, based on feedback once there are a few installed:
- Active suspension
What else is there to consider ?

A ViperExchange/Arrow heads and cam package making 740 NA horse power with a Dick Winkles calibration and 12 month/12,000 mile warranty and the active suspension package would be my mods.

I like ARH full exhaust. If you like a loud ARH type setup throw a Corsa catback on it. I like ARH because all of the calibrations Arrow stage one through sledgehammer are all done with ARH's on the dyno.

Will the active suspension system work on the acr? I didn't think it had the existing active suspension module like on the TAs.

We'll have to look at it but if it will work on the base cars we should be able to retro fit it to the ACR as well.

I am just going to move everything over from my TA and buy a new PCM.

If I was buying a Gen V and I had the means this would be at the top of my list.

Just spoke with our partner on this, and yes it will work and will also retrofit onto Gen IV and older Vipers.

This might push the car into some really rarified air in terms of the cars performance capabilities.

This is what I like to hear... I really want a V but I will not give up the IV ACR. Until I can have both... I will continue to buy goodies! :D

Andy,
That is great news....both for the ACR and the earlier Gen's
As far as the IV, when will this kit be available for install and do you have a sense for $$ for parts and labor ( I know you quoted the parts but there may be something additional needed for the IV) ? You may want to start a thread in the Gen III, IV forum so we don't mix info in case there are some differences
