DZnutz where did you get information on when yours is going into production. Mine is 449 and is painted. Dealer said E code and 5/29 ETA, but I did pay expedited shipping so that would be only chance of getting by 5/29.

Concierge said will start in week from now, so 5/29 ETA and what concierge say does not add up.

ddominator's car is most likely built waiting on truck.

I saw a video that the guy asked someone at the plant when they were doing a roll test on a car how long it takes them to build one. Guy replied 2 days. He then asked how many a day the build, he replied 3 a day, we rack 3 and build 3. This makes sense considering they build right at 100 a month. Note that 100 a month includes all test cars, ACR cars, etc. So even though my VIN is 449, its not built yet at end of May...

DZnutz where did you get information on when yours is going into production. Mine is 449 and is painted. Dealer said E code and 5/29 ETA, but I did pay expedited shipping so that would be only chance of getting by 5/29.

My production information came directly from the Plant Manager

PS: your Dealer has no clue as to when the car is going into production or when it will be delivered, only the factory does. Anything the Dealer has are estimates

Also, can you hook a guy up with some contact info for that plant manager, or just ask him about VIN 449 next time you talk to him!

If yours is going into production 5/29 then mine has to have already started based on 3 a day figure. I am guessing that the 3 a day is for framed up cars that they "rack" and run through final assembly... Not sure though.

Sounds like you have good connection. Would love to hear your thoughts...

Still a kick ass car man. Yes. Thinking mine may just about be done. Belive in final inspection but hoping to get confirmation this week. Getting very close and trying to get body / paint install pics.

My dealer appearantly has a connection at Chrysler. Not an exact ETA for me but looking at around 2nd week of June. ( Ie delivery ) hope that holds true.. do nothing from Concierge huh? That's nuts.

Dealer says ETA 5/29 for my car. Was in framing on 5/20 PER SRT, but concierge has said nothing about framing, just said that paint has started. I just think its pathetic and a complete joke that they are so far off from one another...

This probably doesn't help, but waiting on your Viper still puts you in a very exclusive club that few people get to experience.

Maybe try and make the anticipation part of the fun. Like seeing your girlfriend in lingerie before you go for the full shebangabang. It makes it more special.

But I'm not waiting on one, so I could be way off and you are welcome to tell me to shove it. Just trying to help.

Sorry about lack of communication for u. I agree with u. If 1 on 1 is marketed to be an exclusive in look / sneak peek of your car being built from ground up well then they should stick by that promise. That's what we buy cars for and esp why u are purchasing a 1 on 1 viper. I disagree with last comment of anticipation as yes it fun to anticipate things like banging your gf in a hot set of Lingerie but do think it's xtra special seeing production and knowing when your car is going to be signed ,sealed and delivered at your dealership. Don't call it a freaking concierge service then and just call it anticipation ..your not gonna kniw when u get your viper..service. lol

My dealer is Douglass dodge in Venice florida. I'm good friends w the dealer so think he sort of goes oit of his way a bit more for me but they aren't an exclusive viper dealer and pray if something goes wrong they'll kniw how to fix it !
