I picked up a Arrow PCM for my TA 2.0
I happen to own a high end repair and service shop.
We have a new DREW technology pass thru device to program ecms.
I know all the guys here have been going to the dealership to get their ecms installed.
From what I gather the ECM is already programmed, just the vin needs to be written and idle relearned.
I have access to the OE ecm data via my account with Dodge...
Has anybody done this job outside the factory store or dealership?
Thanks
Mark

Supposedly, only the witech with a current srt license can write to the pcm

I think I'll give it a shot end of next week..I'll buy the software license for a day and try to program it.
A lot depends on what Dodge has released on their dealer site for programming.
Maybe Arrow would know?

The WiTech is like $3000 a month so I don't think a non Dealer will be able to do this and if you "brick" it up trying the wrong way you will be out the money and need a new one, I would suggest just doing it through the dealer.

Thanks for the response...I found a way to check the software coverage on my pass through device..
We've coded and programmed many modules and ecms...and be won't eating this one up.
