Hey yall,

A vendor of ours (my dealership I work at), who does all our tint jobs and Audio/Video stuff- now does Suntek clear bras.

Anyone have experience with them? With the love-bugs down here- I am becoming paranoid about my paint.

Thanks

My whole car is wrapped in Suntek film. They are equal(some argue better) with Xpel in terms in quality, clarity, and healing. It is a great film and I highly recommend it.

I have it and it is very good. According to the place that put mine on, it is top notch / the best.

Wrap the whole car?!

Are you serious? What does that do to the paint? Can it be waxed?

It protects the paint. You can detail it just the same as paint and I supposed you could wax it too. I had the car completely cut and buffed before I had the film installed to ensure the paint was perfect before the film went on.

Edit - and when I say whole car I mean like 85%. Entire front half, side sills, doors, mirrors, front 3rd of roof, rear quarter panels, and lower portion of rear bumper behind the tires.

I recently had my original film replaced with Suntek. What's great about the Suntek is that there is no orange peel look to the film. You will be happy.

Hmm, is this better than xPel? I've heard xPel is like the best, self healing, etc. is this choice actually better, or trade off of features?

My installer said that the templates for Xpel are more precise, but for the quality of the material--Suntek.

I am from the trade but don't work for either company
Suntek is a very cheap product and sold to anyone with a pulse
Just like Their tint.
Xpel is a much better product in quality and has training for its installers and a lot picky about who they sell to
Not even a comparison in my opinion

Dang... I keep reading about Xpel and Suntek and it is a 180 degree full swing of both companies.... Good, bad, awesome, meager....

sigh.

I just dropped my car off tonight for correction, and Xpel to the front fascia, wheelwells and rockers, and then CQuartz. I'll post a pic when done.

I have been told Suntek is more clear than Xpel , but Xpel is more durable than Suntek.

I have had Xpel on 2 vipers and like it. You can not tell mine is on the car unless you look where the lines of the film end which are mostly hidden.

I think you would be happy with both. I would personally be more concerned with the installer.

I have Suntek on my whole front end and I like it a lot. It looks great and can hardly tell there is even a clear wrap on it.

I've got nano ceramic plus the xpel clear bra, so recommend a good protection and I dont know about suntek but xpel ultimate work real good. Dont forget the complixity of our hood.

Can you give some feedback on the nano coating on top of the clear bra? Thinking of doing this myself.
