Good day everyone,
As you might know, Deviate Motoring was the shop that pushed for Forgestar to create the F14 6-lug Viper wheels for us. That required an investment of 40 sets of wheels to get them started with the tooling. Now we want to make more sizes available, but we need to show some interest and do a group purchase to achieve this. These wheels are rotary forged and lightweight, as well as inexpensive. On par with the factory Sidewinder 1&2 weights.
Many of you have been asking for a few things, so we are listening
1) 18" rear wheels - for drag and road racers.
2) 13" rear widths, instead of the current 12" widths.
3) 18x11" front wheels for Gen 5 fitment.
Please respond with your interest in either of the following sets. We'd like to gauge the demand, before making the large investment.
Gen 1-4 Sets:
A) 18x10.0 and 18x13.0 - $1470/set
B) 18x10.0 and 19x13.0 - $1600/set
Gen 5 Sets:
C) 18x11.0 and 18x13.0 - $1490/set
D) 18x11.0 and 19x13.0 - $1620/set
With enough interest, we could likely get each option produced. If not, then they won't happen.
Thanks,
Tony

For me, option C would be perfect!!
I've got a stork bringing a packaged in late August, but it would make a great Christmas gift to myself!

I would be interested in option C if I can't find a set of Sidewinder 1s first.

So they are available in 13 inch width now? What other colors are available besides black?

Only the F14. They don't sell enough Viper sets to justify another style, as each size and style requires its own tooling. Damn 6-lug!
Here is why you can't just drill any lug pattern you want. We have to get them special made for the 6-lug.

Option B if something other than black. 11 inch wide won't fit a gen 2?

18x11.0 will indeed fit the front of a Gen 2, but that might require yet another set of tooling. We are trying to identify the most popular sets from above, and then possibly proceed with getting tooling produced. Too bad the Gen 1-4 and the Gen 5 require different front offsets, and we "need" the Gen 5 front wheel. If it all works out, maybe we can offer custom offsets on the 18x11 fronts, for both generation fitments.
All of their powdercoat colors will be available.
White
Gunmetal Gray
Gloss or Matte Black
Bronze
Silver
Red
Gold
Etc..

10's on the front is fine, thought they were interchangeble but having the 13's on the back is more appealing. Gunmetal grey or silver would be my interest. The brushed aluminum looked best but I think you said they are unavailable.

If I didn't have too many sets already I would be getting a set...!

Can you get them to make a 19" front? Given the size of the new ACR Kumho tire, this might be a great tire option for these rims.

I would be interested in option "A" if they would still fit my new 275 and 335 18" tires.

I'd love to have every size available, but the honest truth is that we do not move very many Viper sets. It is a large investment, and too many cars rolling around on OEM factory wheels. Then, most people want to keep the OEM tire sizes and not upsize, in order to save tire costs.

Gorgeous wheels but I just decided no more Gen IV mods now that the Gen V ACR has been announced. Time to start saving my pennies.

I'd be interested in a 18*11 and 18*13 set for a GEN4 . If they are track capable maybe 2 sets.
Thanks

Option 'D' - NOW! lol!
I can calculate, but would like to know what the Sidewinder II's offset is as a reference to what the F14's are. And I believe the F14's have 3 concave offerings.

Just wanted to check the status and realized that a poll would be a much simpler and easier way to decipher interest.
Does this site have the capability to post polls?

I've ordered a couple sets to arrive here in Houston, and plan on test-fitting them on anything I can find. I'd say there is a slight chance they do clear.

Not possible. Same with Gen 4. You'll need the relocation block kit, which is a cheap and easy to do modification.
