On the way to work this morning I noticed the red battery light on the dash was on, so I checked the voltage gauge and it read 11.7.
When I got to work I shut it off, than restarted it, and everything was fine. The red light was out, and it was reading 14.2 volts.
Build date on the car is 2/2015, so the battery shouldn't be bad. Has anything like this happened to anyone else?

Do you leave the car sit for extended periods of time without a battery tender?

From what I've seen, they haven't really improved the Viper's appetite for battery juice when not in use.

No, I drove it two days ago, and everything was fine.

I'd look at the alternator then, as suggested above.

As above...have alternator and battery tested.

In the meantime, I would adjust gear selection on the road in a manner that keeps rpm near 2000 while watching voltage.

I checked all the wires, and connections I could find, every thing was tight, and secure.
I have started the engine 7 times since than, and everything seems fine.
There are no trouble codes stored, so I doubt the dealer could find anything.
I wonder if it was just a weird computer glitch.

It got worse. After driving about 10 minutes, it just stops charging. As soon as I shut it off and restart it, it works fine for
10 minutes or so. It's not the Battery, and I changed the Alternator Myself, because I didn't want to leave it at the dealer, but it's still doing the exact
same thing. I believe the voltage regulator is in the ECU, so I think I need to take it in so they can replace that.
Do any of you have any other suggestions before I take it in to the dealership? And should I tell them I changed the Alternator,
or could that Void my warranty?

I saw that Madmav was having electrical issues with his 2015 also, and it was in the grounding straps.
Can someone please tell me where all the grounding straps are located, and how to access them?

Found the problem, the nut on the starter wire was missing.
