Despite a spot of rain, an all round outstanding trip! Feel free to post any photos that you've taken or found online. I saw an awful lot of cameras this weekend, especially during the parade down Allen St in Tombstone.

I'll start by sharing this video that was found by a potential member Aimee on youtube from a motorist.

Awesome Todd! I agree it was a fantastic weekend. The weather sucked a bit on Sunday but it managed to be a nice drive anyway. I'm impressed at my club for not letting a little weather ruin their time. Well done, AZ!

Thank you to all that helped put together a great weekend! A couple of cool pics. Like the fang image that shows in the first pic. Dilema - what to do when Doc Holiday with long-gun and your girlfriend share a moment? Not sure who's enjoying the hug more - lol.

Those of us with side pipes were blasting the crowd with exhaust but they didn't seem to care. They seemed to want it, in fact. Chering us on. They also all wanted burnouts which of course fails to take into consideration 2 things. One...bathing spectators in tire smoke is obnoxious but if they want it, fine. It is however incredibly dangerous to do a burnout with kids 3 feet from your car. 2nd...my friend and fellow VOA member behind me may not much care for me flinging rocks and rubber chips at his front end at about 60mph. So no burnouts for me. I didn't mind pelting the spectators with side exhaust though.

Well, time to do some "heavy lifting" in regards to pic posting. At first I was going to upload these untouched then I got bit by the photoshop bug, it takes a few hours usually for the phtoshop touches to kick in.
You're welcome... ;)

I can't wait to see some of the pics dave took from the side/front of the parade. That old timey look or filter might look good on some of those being that it is the streets of Tombstone

Thank you, Gaboon. I pretty much only organized Friday and Sunday. Bob and Cheryl set up the Hotel and Debbie set up the Parade. It really all came together nicely.

I spoke with Sir Vezas and they said they were glad we came in. Perhaps we can send them that nice pic of all of our cars out front as a thank you. If someone will email me a high resolution version of it, I will frame it and give it to them.

Hot Rods Old Vail also thanked us for coming in and I told the manager we were glad to have made it there and it was definitely a neat looking place. I told him I would be there on Wednesday the 29th for the 13 year old Autistic boy's birthday party. For those that didn't get the little handout or overhear, apparantly there is a little boy who suffers from autism and is about to turn 13. He absolutely loves cars. They say that's when he really lights up and you can see him come to life is when he gets to be around cars so they are organizing a birthday party/car show for him. I am planning on going. If anyone else wants to go I can get you the information. It starts late afternoon/early evening but if you want to make it an overnight (I would recommend that as it will be more fun and save you a long day) I can give you recommendations on places to stay or possibly one couple could stay with me as I have a very nice guest room.

Gaboon is right, the Arizona region is awesome and filled with some amazing people. We are very lucky.

I hope you liked your Tire Pressure Keychains. Those were not from the club, those were a personal gift from me to my Arizona homies so I really hope you enjoy them.

Keep those pictures coming.

A big thanks to Bob & Cheryl, Debbie and Jeff for putting together a great weekend. It was a lot of fun and very interesting to walk into historic buildings and look at all the historic artifacts. The cruise routes were excellent with awesome scenery. The Saturday night dinner was a hoot! I have some pictures and video on my cell phone but can't figure how to get it on to my computer so it can be posted on the forum. Any suggestions?

Plug it in with a micro USB drive, make sure the phone is on, it should give you options for how to view the files on there. I choose "view files with explorer" or something like that and it allows you to look through them just like when you plug in a thumb drive. Have you ever done that? It's the same process. Also, depending on your phone and company, they may be already backed up to drop box or iCloud.

Good luck.

Thank you. I did play the wash bucket alright. But as the greatest guitarist of our generation I am able to adapt to any string instrument.
