Has the dipstick design changed?

A bit of a mundane subject... I know Jack B has started a thread on how to properly check the dipstick - but has the design changed?

No matter how you try and insert the dipstick it always returns the the same position - was that the case on 2013's and 2014's? I don't recall that being the case

It always guides back to this exact position

I have the same issue with my 13.

Mine wants to return to the same position as we'll.

I first noticed the discrepancy of the oil level reading on one side of the dipstick versus the other side on many 2003 Vipers.
