9770Hi I finally did it and bought a dream car! Gen II 2002 Glorious Red 18K Viper! I think I made a slight wrong turn on Viper Alley where I was immediately trashed for what I don't know? However moving on I am happily watching the rain wash away the winter salt so I can venture on to the street and wring out this beast. I will admit I almost bought another Corvette Z-06 but they are everywhere and I wanted something not as common. It is exciting! even when you talk to people who don't talk cars about it they perk up and ooh and aah over it.

LOL, you probably got caught in one of the "beat up on the newbie" threads. It catches a lot of fish................

Congrats on the RT. Best color ever! :D

Welcome and congratulations on the Viper. I asked a body guy how many corvetts versus vipers he`d worked on in his 30 years and he told me about 20 to 1. Nice color choice. Good luck. Rusty.

Congrats!
That was the first Viper I had ever seen! I was in my vettes driving back from Pocono raceway and was like, "what the heck is that!"
Fell in love right then and ditched buying vettes haha.

Top off, windows down, back glass removed, and you'll be in love with your RT/10 like you've never been before.

Congrats on a great purchase, and have fun searching this site for maintenance tips (you'll want to flush brake and clutch fluids for starters) and enjoy the low gas prices too! :)

Another hardy welcome to the club, love the year and color. You're spot on about the reaction to your Viper. My wife and I do a lot of day trips with our Viper and no matter where we go someone always approaches us with questions about the car. Enjoy your ride, we do.
