Very nice! That's the one and only Magnum I would like to own, the 08's front end looked so much better!

Was that the last year they made those?

I actually always liked that car. I remember when they first hit they were THE car to have and to customize. One of the most popular mods at first was painting it "white-white" or some shade of brilliant white because it was originally only offered in cream IIRC.

I like the color too. Kind of a sleeper, undercover color. Congrats and enjoy.

Correct. Local guy here in the Philly Mopar scene has one, wins ever show he's in. Modded too. Along the the Superbees (I'm biased...) I think that this will be one of the more desired 1st Gen SRTs collectible i 40 years. I won't live to find out though....

Yes, Claude. In fact, I've judged his car myself, and gave it the win, at Mopars at Maple Grove last year.

Nah more than that. There were 119 built in Black. Still had Torred and silver I think too, so probably closer to 1k all together. But Steel Blue 08's are the rarest of the bunch. I've seen a preproduction black 08' but is actually a 07' at Carlisle last year. Think it was #6 off the production line. Neat car.

Among 4000 cars at Carlisle, just 30 were Magnums. It was neat to park in that row but we got classed in with the 300's and Chargers.

It's too bad they didn't do more to separate the SRT Magnum from the regular junk. They only made 239 of the SRT , but how many of the crappy regular ones did they make. I briefly looked at buying one back around 06 or so, but quickly decided on the SRT 8 Jeep. Too many non-SRT Magnums running around Houston with "SRT" badging on them.

Steel blue looked good on the Jeeps too. Congrats

Thanks all for the compliments :)

There were only 29 Steel Blue Magnum SRT8s made in 2008 (last model year), out of the 239 total as mentioned above. My hunt has always been for the 2008 with the revised front end and hood scoop!

I'm pretty tickled to have two Unicorn-ish Mopars in the stable ;)

Unicorn-ish. Is that like Dutch?

It actually reminds me of a scene from the show Scrubs.

Definitely a nice find. I could see it being pretty desirable in a few years too. They were well received and I think most of them got driven into the ground. One in good shape could be worth some bucks down the line. Especially with an unmolested SRT package.
