Viper Motor Ever Used in Aviation?

Has a Viper motor ever been used in a single engine airplane?

It seems like it would be good, right? Fuel injected, good torque through the powerband. Wouldn't it be a good option for some of the WWII replica planes or air race planes?

Perhaps you aviation buffs can chime in for me in this.

Well he has time to do so now. Wouldn't the oil starvation issue be an easy fix? I could see that being a problem for any motor.

I assume these days people like turbo motors for altitude. Though couldn't a supercharged Viper motor work well? I thought it was pretty light for the amount of power it makes. How much does the 600hp aviation engines weigh?
