Who Owns a 98 rt/10 In Metallic Silver - NO STRIPES

9024I am just trying to find out how many 1998 Dodge Viper RT/10 in metallic silver are out there. I know they only produced 127 of them. So, I am trying to ascertain how many are left.

Actually, the International Viper Association lists it as 127. Check it out on line.

There is one that's been sitting outside for about 2 years now in a gas station on route 15 south just before route 80 in NJ.:( I've been meaning to go in there and take a few pics and get the story. Maybe he'll see this thread. I'm actually headed that way later on.

So I stopped by and met the owner and took a few pics... The car is very much loved and the prize possession of it's owner and he would never part with it. I didn't take notes but i believe he said he bought it in 2000 as a theft recovery and he used to drive it daily and racked up 70k miles or so. He says he didn't buy it to be a garage queen. It needs a clutch and trans and he hopes to be out cruising with us in the spring. I sent him a link to this thread and he seemed very interested in the club.

I love to hear about people's experiences with their Vipers especially the less typical stories like this one. It just shows that there a lot of different ways to enjoy and appreciate these cars.
