So I was dropping my TA off at Tomball yesterday for some minor warranty work and had the opportunity to check out the Vault and the new 2015's they had in stock.

I was able to snap a bunch of cell phone pics of the Oranges a lot of people have been asking about.

I through an Orange TA in on this one (Bottom right corner) but it's in poor lighting.

Honestly I am not a fan of the Yo Orange, it comes off flat and pale. Of the two stage oranges TA orange is a much better color. The Stryker orange looks great and it does have a lot of red in it. The custom color on the Medusa is my favorite though. Heavy on the pearl and it looks awesome in person!

looks like sunlight is needed for the Stryker version to really pop. I still like the Comp blue with black stripes though.....lol

The Stryker painted cars have a TON of depth to them. They literally just drip in color. Sunlight does help but even under the fluorescents they are pretty special.

I'd really like to see the striker orange in person. I'm with you, the Yorange isn't doing much for me.

They should have just done a TA in a hot race yellow of some sort, would look killer with black CF bits.
I don't know what they were going for with that Y'Orange, it looks like marmalade or butterscotch.
It's way too passive a color.

The custom color is also my favorite. Reminds me of 08-09 VVO? How close does it look in person?

From there (pic analysis only) I'd have to choose TA, Stryker, Yorange in that order.

I'd like to see the Stryker Orange in the sun. I'm a fan of colors that pop but aren't in your face bright. The TA Orange is a little much for me, I think Stryker Orange has the potential to be awesome. But I've learned you've gotta see the colors in person, it's too hard to tell from a photo inside a building.

I agree, seeing them in person in daylight makes a huge difference. Haven't seen the Stryker Orange in person, and knowing that it follows the same properties as Red and Green, I have to assume that I would like the color.

You should have asked him if Stryker orange is even still available. It's no longer on the web configurator. Also what the hell happened to Stryker purple? Just make it the same color as that Medusa and call it a day. That looked amazing.

Maybe because it's not blue with silver or white stripes. I actually like it but I'd take the red with black stripes as my first choice. It's cool to see so many new vipers in one place!

Ugh..... I have a Y'Orange 2.0 ordered. I saw the pics of that a couple of days ago and thought it looked pale and flat. Tried convincing myself that it's the fact it's under fluorescent lighting and thats why. Was going to call Tomball and see if they would take any pics of it out in the sun.

With your exact words of flat and pale after seeing it in person makes me think I better go fly somewhere and check it out myself in person. Too bad you didn't get to see it in natural lighting.

We had a Stryker Orange at our Illinois holiday party last week. Its was way cool!!!!!!! Almost as good as Stryker Red.

We had a Y-Orange at the Illinois Holiday party last week also. Its OK its different. Its somewhat pale , but in the sun it will probably look good.

Here's a few pics of stryker orange outside taken from viper exchange's facebook. Looks beautiful. Seems to have a red tint with the orange really poking through where the sun hits it, similar to stryker red.

We can't end this thread with a Corvette! Here is Copperhead Orange! Looks like Stryker Orange is quite a bit darker than Copperhead. Although lighting is everything when taking photos with these colors :-)

Here is the Y'Orange outside. It looks a lot better than inside under the fluorescent lights. IMO anyway. I also have the dealer sending me a swatch from Prefix of the color.

Too creamy for me, but now I get the name though, it's like Yellow and Orange = Y'Orange, although Yell'Orange would've been a cooler name.

But it's a TA so what's not to like & they'll sell well like always. I think it brings a little more value to the '14 orange cars, those are undeniably gorgeous and now a singe year color for a highly desirable combo.

Still wish they had a Silver TA or TA 2.0, that would look sick, or maybe not, since I'd probably have to turn mine over & buy one, lol.
