Greetings all,

My top Bucket list item says, "I should always have something parked in the garage that I should'nt be allowed to Drive. So, after 20 years of Corvettes I canceled my Zo6 order and traded for a new left over 2013 GTS, my first Viper.

Wow, is this thing feels a lot different than my Vette. I'm struggling a bit getting comfortable with the "tight" fit and vision restrictions...especially upward but I'll adapt. So just taking it slow with the breakin and trying to learn some of the electronics, bell and whistles, etc.

Looking forward to getting involved with VOA club activities, shows and events in the Colorado area and checking in with the forums on a regular basis for some friendly advice and help. Will I be seeing any of you at the SRT Driving Experience scheduled in Topica KS the end of May?

Congrats! Previously a Vette owner as well. Bloomington Gold SURVIVOR and NCRS Top Flight. Owned over 30 Vettes. Fell in love with a B&W GTS years ago and made the switch. Have been and still am an NCRS member but really love the Viper.

Congrats. And it's not your imagination, the cockpit is tight and the windshield is really short and has less than optimal sight lines.

Sounds like you made the right decision. I think you will find the club pretty helpful. There are new owners and experienced owners alike on here and all can be helpful. Also, it seems yoir region is pretty active as I understand it. So have fun and be safe. I try and find the point where those two lines intersect.

Always look your best while driving, you will be amazed on how many people video and take pictures of you. Be active in your local voa, it is well worth it. Welcome to the viper world.

Thanks for the friendly response folks and appreciate that I have already been contacted by the local VOA club in this Region. For 1BigRedC I'm located just Southeast of Denver in the Parker area. Waiting for the snow to stop and roads to clean off and then the fun begins.
