I have a Competition Blue TA 2.0 on order. Can't wait! Gonna put headers on it and a Mopar controller. I wish I could get it striped though. Love stripes on a Viper.

I'm holding out a bit for a 2014 TA since I figured once people start buying TA 2.0s and ACRs they will want to sell their TA 1.0s. I've seen one sell a month ago for 85k, fair price I think.

Yes, I'm doing the steel brake lines too, plus Bellangers, PCM, race pads, new fluid brakes and clutch, 6 points, extra set of wheels, Raptor Shift light, IPSCO tow hooks front and rear, and 18 (or is it 19?) speaker upgrade. If I have enough time I will get it striped as well.

I ordered a Y'orange TA on Jan. 10th. I also purchased a couple sets of lug nuts and a few shift knobs. 1 shift knob and 1 set of lug nuts are going to the powder coater on Monday, and yes, I've already picked out a color that matches up really well to Y'orange.

Ask your dealer they can find out what the scheduled ship date is. I have my VIN number as well. I can't imagine that the date they told me will hold true but we shall see.

I've actually seen a competition Blue TA 2.0 in person at Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale. Pictures don't do it justice, great looking car.

I have ordered a TA 2.0 in comp blue, it's in D1 right now. It will be interesting to see how long it takes because mine is "hot tagged" due to it being a replacement for my problematic '14.

Really? Did your dealer say that? It's not like those of us with TA2.0 orders will just drop the order for an on-the-lot TA1.0. Seems really silly to wait.

Full disclosure, no one told me that, that is just my speculation. Not sure how the plant schedules anything, but it makes me wonder since these are limited and they seem to be taking a while to start production and no one can seem to come up with a start date that I am aware of. Hmm

They are building some vehicles for inventory, but not a lot. I think they'll space out the TA2's rather well (building all the sold ones they can)

The brakes and some suspension parts are different and it has a wing. Front aero is the same, I believe, as the aero kit available on other Vipers. Nothing special about the interior or stereo (12 speaker unit). When they push any Viper down the line they will have a build sheet of some kind that tells them what to put on the car. Put these wheels on, add the 18 speaker setup, put in leather, whatever. The parts are already lined up for each build. Building a TA should be no more difficult than building any other Viper. The only reason they wouldn't be building them yet is if they are waiting on some part specific to the TA like the wing is not yet available from the supplier. Given this and given how they screwed up delivery of customer cars when the Gen 5 first came out, I have every reason to believe my car will be delivered some time in March.

I am not the person that is replacing a buy back. I am replacing a 2009 ACR. I will be using the new TA for the Cannonball One Lap of America. That event starts at the end of April so I am hoping the TA gets here in March so that I can do some prep work on it.

My 2.0 was ordered 11/26/14, like I mentioend before it has its VIN and a scheduled ship date of March 13. Again in D1 limbo status. So anyone's guess is as good as another's when it will actually be built and shipped. I'll be happy to see it by June.

I ordered on 11/26/2014, too, also the blue one. The dealer told me that my TA should be be going down assembly line in first part of March.

My scheduled ship date was 2/10, but that was just a computer generated date which is irrelevant as I have been informed recently. As hard as these things are to get, better hold on to them when you get one.

That would be me, the order was placed on 1-26-15 and it's on hot tag / accelerated delivery. It's in D1 and has been for 2 weeks now, so probably in the same limbo everyone else is in.
