That is a great video with many true moments in life. I am 46 and my boss told me to get my Viper...because if I waited for the perfect time to buy one, I would never own one. I am So glad I pulled the trigger fairly young before I got to retirement or something like that. One thing is for sure...Life can sure suck the money right out of you. And if you work hard and don't buy yourself your dream car...nobody will!
I don't regret buying mine for ONE second!!! Worth every penny to me. My Viper makes me happy. For so long all my money went into savings/IRA, kids, family, home....well not anymore!!!! Hell ya! My Viper is for me b*tches!!!

Doing the right thing for your family can definitely put a damper on the Viper purchasing department. I got my first one when I was 29 (no I'm not trying to make this a youngest owner thread) but I wasn't married and didn't have any kids. I am sure if I did, I would have had to look at things differently. Thought I definitely think you shouldn't wait too long to get yourself something special like a Viper or a Vette (if that's your thing), I would never fault anyone for putting it off because they wanted to keep the rainy day fund filled higher with their kids in mind. It is funny how little things in life add up so quickly and can stop you from buying a car. The lesson I would take from that though is that for many of us (I mean us as a species and as a country, not just people on this forum) there may be the money for a car already in our lives if we changed a few of our spending habits. It's easy to get accustomed to 20 bucks here or there that with a few changes or small sacrifices, and there is your new set of wheels.
By the way, I liked the video but I would have liked it better if he got it at the end instead of dying and while driving down the street a new, different kid rode his bike next to it and started his own fund just like the guy did. I think that would have been a better message. And a little more uplifting.
I'm assuming chevy didn't make this, or did they?
