After driving for a full day I had trouble hearing low frequencies, sort of like when you leave a concert. I have no cats.

I met someone else who has a full belanger with no cats, but he has some extra mufflers (in the sills I think?) that I believe I don't have, and his car was much quieter.

FWIW...I have a gen III but am a musician and am very sensitive to drone. I did belanger headers, high flows, and Corsa cat back (corsa for good tone and as a drone preventer.) and I have no drone at all. And can still have a conversation no problem while cruising in 4th around town or 5th/6th on the highway.

On my 02 GTS I had stock headers but had high flow cats and Corsa cat back and loved the sound and no drone either. As I understand it, Corsa was engineering paid specific attention to canceling out drone and as I said, I haven't had it on either vehicle.

The cat less smell is a comittment unto itself. High flows and Corsa. Call jon B. I love the setup I got from him and I have side pipes. Yours has more wiggle room in terms of dronw but if I don't have drown I doubt you will with rear exhaust.

I love it in mine, then again, we are typing and I don't have to hear any of you LOL! It's a Gen2 Viper, let it be obnoxiously loud and drone. If I wanted quiet, soft and comfy I would have bought a Vette! :stickmen_burningsti

I've got a full Belanger system on mine.

I did M&M headers, cat delete, 3" all the way to the back with resonators right at the end. Love the sound and only get drone at 2k RPM, nowhere else.

I had Full Belanger exhaust with cats on my previous Gen 1. I absolutely loved it. So much so that I am ordering another set for my new Gen 1 at the end of the month. On my Gen 2 I had RSI race headers and Hennessy 4" catless exhaust. It was terrible. The smell didnt bother me, but the ring and drone did. I ended up cutting off the dead weight, drilling holes in my sills and putting on Belanger catbacks. It was a 100% improvement.
