I have been lookng for this part for a month now without any result of finding it, spoke with some vendors they said I have to get the full door panel in order to get it? Which doesn't make sense to me at all. Because it's a small piece of plastic on top of the door and its a removable piece. I have posted the part needed in picture down.

By the way I own a 2006 viper coupe

I was told by my tech, Eddie Martin, to be very careful if removing the door panel because if you break the top plastic piece you must replace THE ENTIRE DOOR PANEL. He told me this some time ago when I was discussing having the rear bulkhead painted by a hot rod shop. He volunteered the knowledge about the door even though I hadn't mentioned it because he believed it that important. He said, "if you are having anything done with the doors make sure they talk to me first because..."

This was reiterated to me by a service manager at the dodge dealership near me here in Tucson too. So, looks like that is actually the case. Now, that doesn't mean you can't try rigging something up or an adhesive but so far as I have been told, that is the rule.

I broke mine last year. I bought a piece of rubber moulding that looks pretty good. Not perfect but much better than the broken piece untill I can figure out something better.

Mine are busted on my '03. My '06 had the same problem. I wish there was a cheaper solution.

I superglued mine to the door panel as it was coming off, hopefully this will keep it from catching and breaking off. I was also told by the body shop that you have to replace the whole door panel.
