Admit it, it was needed.

Just ran 18 cylinders worth of Horsepower before the snow starts to fall here in New England. Several other motorists gave me a huge thumbs up while in the snake. Several more I could see in my rear view mirror smiling as they took cell phone pics of the car from behind me.

Guess it was just a reminder to be grateful for what I have. And to realize that what I have is a special supercar.

I also had a great time rowing gears for about 20 miles of smiles. That is all.

Thank you. Weather is not cooperating here this weekend, some sleet this morning, now pouring rain today and tomorrow. She's just sitting quietly in the garage, calling to me!

Took mine out of hibernation on Dec 29 for a 4 hour drive as after a week of rain the roads were finally dry and free of salt, temps were in the low 20F but the car rode just fine on the Mich PSS. Got lots of thumbs up as it was the only exotic out on the roads that day.
Took it out again the next day, then washed it and back up on the lift for the rest of winter.

Great post. The cars always feel so much faster in late Spring when the weather breaks. Hoping to have mine delivered tomorrow for a quick/easy spin before 6 degrees and snow on Monday here in Michigan.

I walked out of my house today and almost knocked my head off the ground when I slipped on ice. Wish I could drive any viper but yes the new ones are nice.

I wanted to take mine out today but encountered this. I really can't complain as I've been able to drive it up until yesterday. Winter finally arrived in CT.

Congrats Charlie! I miss my Rams, but not parking them (or the fuel bills!). I wouldn't mind a 6.4 Power Wagon though. Looks like the monsoon rain we got here today was snow for you!

Thanks Scott... Not too bad on the snow here today. It's suppose to go high 50's tomorrow. The truck seems to do OK on gas with the 8 speed and the MDS system. It's a quad cab so the parking is a little tricky.

Finally got some dry weather in mine today and made some hits. On the way home filled her up and snapped a pic. Gotta love that feeling of turning around and being excited about your car.

I do not envy your northern winters. Nope, that would be torture as a car guy.

Did my oil change, and 120 miles later put her back to bed. So cold here, IAT's never hit 60 degress. :drive:

It usually is, but yesterday I took my wife's SRT8 Grand Cherokee out in the snow, and that starts to make up for it! :-) You need a fun winter toy for sanity's sake.

It is. My car can sleep for weeks at a time. However, if not too cold, and the roads are clear and dry, then she comes out for a short drive.

Yea but think of the extra HP the engine must be making with that cold dense air!

Surprisingly the car performs very well in the cold. And I wasn't only impressed with the engine; could've believe how nicely the stock Pirelli's handled too.

I've driven my GenV in 29-30's degrees temperatures. I'm surprised how well the tires perform in this weather. But then again, I'm not driving like I stole it in this cold weather either but I was expecting worse from the tires.

Well for having my car for two months and maybe getting oh...20 miles on it at best, is it spring yet?!

Between living at work and the weather it has not been a car guys dream here in CT. I fear today is the real beginning of the end...
I will just have to sit in the car, parked in the garage and dream of March!
