Stock Viper TA vs Bolt-on GTR (Video)

Thought I'd share a couple videos of my old TA versus my buddy's GTR. He has most of the bolt-ons including downpipes, catback, midpipe, injectors, fuel pumps, inlets and Cobb AP with a custom tune. Both of us were on 93 octane. My TA was bone stock and blew up a few weeks later.

Very respectable. It shows that brute horsepower is still viable. Your buddy must have a crappy tune though because you beat him pretty hard in that second vid, and my FBO GT-R has never lost to a Gen-V even on 93. My traps are 10.5@130+ on 93. He could have also been in the wrong traction setting, but a win is still a win. Good job!

I've had 4 GTRs at various power levels. When I was FBO, I trapped the same mph that you did on 93, 130. Now consider the fact that one of our members has trapped 132 in his bone stock TA in 1,000' DA and the results seem about right. Let's also not forget Nineball's video of him running dead even in his stock TA against a Lamborghini Huracan that traps 135. Well driven stock Gen Vs are ridiculously quick from a roll.
