Service Contract?

Went to get the oil changed at 500 miles and when done the service writer said that I had a 2 yr/ 4 service contract and nothing was owed. I know that a 3 year service contract came with my 2013 ram but no one at the dealership mentioned this to me when purchasing the viper. Is that standard for the viper or did they throw that into my sale? Also does it only cover oil changes or are there other things covered like brakes? She didnt really say. She just showed a print out that said 4 oil changes. Thanks for the input.

Ask them for a copy of the "Service Agreement" and it should tell you what and how many are covered.

Yea...they usually dont throw in free oil changes with the viper. Perhaps they saw you had it on the ram and made a mistake? Either way...SCORE! :D

I didnt think so. The best part is I got a great deal and had negotiated for about three weeks. Took them forever to get to my price and then to have that thrown in just sweetened the deal. Score for sure

Sticker was $135090 before the $15k reprice. Got the car for $82600 plus a $399 doc fee. Total was $82999. Then to find out I got 4 oil changes for free made it even better. I bought the car mid Nov.

My SRT Jeep has 4 free oil changes that must be used in the first two years. While getting my second oil change done I asked if the Viper would get the same deal. They told me yes. So I plan on getting the Viper done when I do the air bag sensor recall.

For me that's great. I'm a motorcycle dealer so whenever I sell my cars, I retail them. That means that dealer will be selling your car in the high 70's to low 80's depending on his overhead. About what I paid for mine new.

Nice buy! I've been looking for a deal like that or a 2014 GTS with Laguna in the low 90's.

You should be able to find that pretty easily. I know one sold in the beginning of Nov. Black with graphite racing stripes for $91k. I've found that ebay has always been my friend. Usually when a small dodge dealer resorts to listing a car on ebay that they want to move it. You have to find one that rarely posts anything. The larger guys post alot on there and aren't usually going to move on price. But you find one that has only one or two cars on ebay it's usually a tell tale sign they want it gone.
