That looks a whole lot more fun than when I drove an Audi A6 on the track this year. LOL. I wish I had my Viper there.

That guy spent waaay to much time bouncing off the rev limiter. Nice drive through the forest though.

What colour scheme is that, was that a stock colour or custom? Looks like a Silver car with Gunmetal stripes? Anyone have any other pics of the car?

You know that BtG is a lot shorter right? Evo's do it in 7:45. I look forward to thor actually getting on it next time. He picked a good time to run though, as there was very little traffic for a tourist track day. :)

Still fun to watch. He has the lines sussed out. I bet he knocks 10+ seconds off his next run.

I only knew of 1 Gen V in Europe, now I guess there's two! Anyone know of any more being sent this way?

So did the ACR during its ring record. I've always wondered about that.

In know of one in Germany (which is not the one in the video). Where is the one in Europe you have in mind located?

I think shifting into the next higher gear in these particular situations would be counterproductive as you would have to shift up and shortly after that shift down again which at the end would cost you too much time.

The only car I Knew of is Max's Red Viper who used to run the German VCA?, I don't know whose the car is in the VIDEO, I guess it must have been a personal import, No idea which country the car is registered in?

Only in the 1st ACR run. The 2010 had 5th changed, better aero, and a more aggressive driver. The Gen V's gearing is much improved.

Beautiful day. Didn't hear the tires singing much, so there's some left. Don't screw up because it's nothing but Armco all around. Bucket list.

Well, then we had the same car in mind :) Don't know the one in the video either... the guy that posted the vid seems to be from Italy though...

Guy definitely knew the track well...my butt hole puckered multiple times, especially when he ran up on some slower traffic.

The only time wasted bouncing off the rev limiter would be straight line, which I saw very little of. When you are approaching a turn with only a couple hundred feet left it's better to maintain speed bouncing off the limiter than to either slow down or upshift only to down shift instantly after, squid!
