Hey Vince, not sure if you saw my other post so I will give it a go here again.

I assume this replaces the current clutch bleeder on the side of the tranny so it points strait down and is easier to get to?

If so, and it works correctly, I would be in for one in a heartbeat. I know all these other guys with their sissy girl hands can get in there, but my big old meat paws don't fit too good.

No ones hands fit in there that well. I hate the location of the bleeder and will either remote mount mine or may consider this. I use the fluid evac setup you can get off the Snap-On truck. Works great for doing brakes just can't get on the bleeder for the clutch. Have to resort to the old fashion way to do that one.

I use the small MityVac (http://www.amazon.com/Mityvac-MV8000-Automotive-Test-Bleeding/dp/B00265M9SS/?tag=hardfocom-20). It has some conical inserts with 90 degree turns on them that came with the kit. Still not easy, but gets me out of an extra anger management class a month.

I'm not a fan of the mity vac. I have a power bleeder in the trailer for doing stuff at the track if need be and use the other in the shop since we have shop air.

This fitting slides inside the middle of the bleeder and it has a small hole throught th middle and yes it points down it is a little slow but it keeps the fluid from getting all over the place

Agreed...I have the parts waiting to install a remote bleeder, but just haven't felt much like pulling the transmission to install it.

A Motive Power Bleeder works, even with the stock bleeder...it's just messy.

The problem I've seen is that the fluid doesn't just come out of that center hole...it also escapes around the threads, which in turn dumps into the bell housing and out the bottom.

I haven't bought one yet but I have a new clutch to swap out. Going to do it then.

I ran one for years on my 2002 Camaro...made clutch fluid changes easy with 0 mess. It was so nice not even having to jack the car up to do it.

You are likely opening the fitting too much. That has been my experience.

That might be part of it, but probably not entirely my problem since the threads themselves don't seal at all.

Just to let you guys know. I contacted Vince about this when I first saw it. He sent me one to try out and make any recommendations. This thing worked great! I thought for sure I was going to get some leakage coming out around the bleeder hole, but not one drop fell. I attached my Power Bleeder to it, cracked the valve open just a hair and sucked the fluid through with no problem or mess. In fact I filled and emptied the cylinder three times to make sure I got all the old fluid out. After I drained the cylinder down and refilled, I then pumped the clutch about 5 times. No air in the system and now I have clean fluid. Probably took me 10 minutes to do the job, with no clean up. I'm sure I can do it quicker next time by myself.

Are you going to buy/keep it? Can I rent it or try it out on my 08?

PM Vince, he'll probably send you one to try out.
