LA autoshow unveiled new stripe style (Pictures)

I'm pretty surprised this hasn't been posted, and if it has I guess here are just three more pictures.

I was at the LA autoshow last weekend. They had a GT viper with stripes similar to the GTS-R. I have seen all the different configurations in person (No stripes, SRT stripes, GTS stripes) and I can say this was the worst one. I think the car needs to be wider to pull this off, it just did not look good. The viper did get a huge crowd around it! Here are 3 cellphone pics that I took of it.

I also asked the Dodge representative if this style was planning on going on sale, he had no idea. When I asked if he knew anything about the ACR he replied "Yeah its 300,000 Dollars". He probably got confused with the GT3-R, he was an idiot.

Been wondering about that combination myself. How about stryker red with black stripes like the GTS R? Including the pin stripe outline.

Thanks for the video.I think they look better on this car because of the sideview mirrors painted black, the SRT hood and since the stripes also go to the rear decklid. The one at the LA autoshow looked to bland

I like how they look only on the hood. Maby if they just stripe the hood and that's it. But then again I hate when people put racing stripes on cars and they don't do the bumpers or just the hood and trunk nothing else.

F2V thats how you make those hood stripes work with the rest of the car. The marketing dept needs a taste intervention badly.

Glad Roy posted his picture as his car is beyond awesome, but the one shown at LA does not elicit a positive response and alot has to do with it looking unfinished in my estimation. I would have suggested a pinstripe to highlight the outside of the stripes as somewhat of a remedy, but like everyone else not digging the rear at all. Roy's car shows the idea carried to it's natural conclusion and really illustrates how the showcar appears as a partial paint scheme that somewhat was not done to completion.

Do not believe this will be added to the paint options , have heard no rumors and if they read the VOA reactions , it will go to the back of the line for any future consideration.

Thanks Bill, but I didn't invent the wheel here...I just picked the colors. It is a tribute to the GTS-R ALMS paint scheme, put together for me by PREFIX and Mark Trostle/SRT...not to mention your assist :-)

F2V's does look a lot better and I think the pin stripe does help. The all black top on white looks great especially with all the other black parts on car!
