After visiting Caffeine and Exotics in Atlanta this past Sunday, couple of guys took a drive up to the north GA mountains. All I can say is that this car is amazing. Car felt so composed in the turns, I was shocked that the car didn't understeer at all.

It felt like my car was telling me, is that it? is that all you got? LOL. I was taking it a little easy since it was drizzling and I was new to the route. But we were driving hard enough where my friend's focus ST with upgraded braked started overheating and another guy with a C5 or C6? corvette's transmission (auto) started overheating.

I am hooked and will probably be doing mountain runs very often. Here are some pics.

Isn't it fun. The Smokies aren't too far from you. I drive from Chicago [GD flatland IL] to NC/TN to drive the Cherahola Skyway, TOTD and the surrounding areas each year. You will have a blast there.

Try 180 between 129 and 60. They just paved it. I'm up in the mountains (Ellijay) and I know the back roads very well. PM me next time you are up in the mountains.

The roads between Highlands,NC and Cashiers are just as twisty as the Dragon with way less traffic. Highlands to just outside Wahalla is also good.

It is fun. I am so glad that I am close to great driving roads. I used to live in Chicago and I know what you mean.

Will definitely try next time. PM me your contact info and I'll plan something out.

I went to the Dragon and it was insane. Will definitely try it out.

Thanks. I really want to get rid of the polished wheels, not my style.

If you enjoy driving in the mountains, you will have to join us next year at our annual Biltmore trip. This year went went on a nice scenic drive on the Parkway...and then a more spirited drive down what the local call the Devil's Whip. Its like the TOD but w/less traffic and a steeper down grade w/some interesting curves. Best of all, its only 3 miles from my house.

We just had it a couple months ago, Its usually around September or October, any later never know when the roads are going to be closed due to snow. Check out the thread for this years trip. http://driveviper.com/forums/threads/4582-Vipers-Slither-to-Biltmore-2014!!!

We had three or four Vipers from GA this year...they had a blast.

NICE! 3 miles from my house is a 4 lane parking lot.
