Glad to be back in a Viper. Found a 5,200 mile Silver 98 GTS that spent it's life in Southeast Oklahoma. Purchased the car from a dealer in Texarkana, TX. I've been looking for the right, low mile, GTS for some time and jumped all over it. Was a previous Gen 1 owner, and just sold a C5 Z06 to get back in a Viper.

Very interested to know more about the car if anyone was familiar with the previous owner.

Shes a beaut!

Loved the silver GEN II's. Almost bought a silver '98 RT/10. Good luck with her. :)

Congrats and welcome to the site! Glad you found your way back to a Viper. I was worried when you told me about that Z06 purchase a few years ago :)

Weather stinks but play with it before it gets nasty outside.

That picture is going to make a bunch of the other clown shoe guys here want to jump off a bridge when they see that perfect hood alignment. Congrats on a beauty!

You had to point that out! :) the alignment on my 94 is nowhere near that.

Welcome and nice selection.

Thanks Stretch - Practicality got the best of me for a short time. Scratched the itch, and now I know where my loyalties are.

They just started spraying the roads today for snow on Saturday... Oh well, I put 50 miles on it so far...

The hood is perfect, until you drive it, the passenger side shifts up about a quarter to a half inch above the headlight. My old 1st gen did the same thing, but I was able to adjust it over time to stay put. I'll be tackling that problem tomorrow.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone!

Nice! I actually bought mine in the St. Louis area back in June. There are some great roads out there...enjoy them while you can!

Yep, practicality can cause problems like that. You'll have to come join us for a road trip or two next year.

Welcome
Nice car! I'm sure you will enjoy it.

Unfortunately you just missed an all day cruise that we had 2 weeks ago.... We will have a lot more events next year.

Looking forward to meeting you and keeping Michelin in business....:drive:

You got me there. No passenger to take any photos.

I was leading this cruise and doing my best to lose everybody on some "tail of the dragon'ish" backroads.....:icon_devil:

Where at in St. Louis?

We went on a cruise south of St.Louis. Went through Potosi to Bixby and back.

(Definitely the opposite direction of Ferguson...:()
