Right car, right state. I just wasn't going to be the bus driver if it was. Nobody knew who anyone was in the video, that why everything was blurred, no plates, no faces, no names. Until right now.

I live in Houston lol and that is correct. Gen V ran damn strong considering its completely stock down to the paper filter. And I know that none of those Vettes are the fast ones in town.

A gen 4 Coupe with all the boltons and a nitrous shot could do some damage around here though.

What I don't get .........why isn't everyone scared to run their car, with everyone else on the road also recording these days (?)
With every cell phone equipped with a camera all you need is someone else not participating to record a race and post it ( without your permission).
For instance, the white Viper,..... did he think that someone might post a video of him running his car on Youtube ???
I advise everyone here to be very careful when engaging someone on a public street especially when the car engaging you has a passenger in the car.
Rule number 1. never race/engage a car on a public street that has a passenger. Drivers without passengers are less likely to record since they cannot hold a camera and drive.
Rule number 2. never assume rule number will hold true. Cameras can be dash/window mounted with a solo driver
Rule number 3. most importantly...just DO NOT ever run your car on a public street. That is what private streets and race tracks are for.
drive safe everyone.

By Golly...I did not intend to be a thread killer.
Sorry for deflating the spirit of the thread, but just saying street racing is quite dangerous, (asides from being illegal).
By the way, just read the article in the Baltimore Sun about your Gramdpa being named Harford's Farmer of the Year.....Congratulations !!

What I don't get is why there is what is basically a Corvette thread including the title in Gen V! The www.corvetteforum.com would love to chat Vettes!!

Well there is a white Viper at 4.10 in the Video, but looking at the footage, you can see that the cars are not at their max, so a corvette pulling away slightly from the Viper proves NOTHING :)

It was me. I think it held its own against a modded ZR1. LOL, those guys are the slower group in Houston. I told one of the guys that organizes the gathering to call me next time, and I'd bring the blue car out. He laughed and said nobody would run it. ;)

Being it anyway and do some King Kong style curb stomping.
