Medusa #1 Photo shoot!

First of all congratulations to our Houston Club Secretary Beth Sewell and her Husband Richard (our Pres). Bernie and Beth gave me a call a couple days ago and asked if I would mind coming down to Tomball when Beth took delivery of her #1 of 10 Viper Exchange/Prefix Medusa. I literally had about 10-15 minutes to find a quick spot to shoot the car so that Beth could drive off and enjoy it. I am going to shut up for a change and let the car do the talking, not much needs to be said after seeing this.

I will update the thread this evening as I edit more photos.

Appreciate it Schen! Man it was a funky shoot, I was really lucky to find that one spot where I thought the light would look decent in post processing. Everything else was upstairs in really low light, or out front of the dealership in the bright sun. All's well that ends well I guess. Beth is local so I'm sure at some point I'll get some more camera time with it.

It's one of those cars that looks better in Coupe form I guess. Probably wouldn't lose as many lines if it were a targa. These are the best pics I've seen of it though.

Yep that's one thing I will have done probably after the first of the year. Working on the first 1000 break in miles right now! I am thinking satin black roll hoops behind each seat - similar design to those STUPID sport hoops that came on my Gen IV - man that pissed me off to the point that she's got a venom red painted Autoform roll bar!

I dunno how rosy the prefix-dodge relationship is, but if this thing was built without SRT's knowledge, it might be an IP issue. It is possible and common to copyright a proprietary font, so Dodge could probably sue Ford if Ford tried to use Dodge's waving checkered flag ACR/TA font on a Mustang.

I had to look hard past the black wheels to see the rest of the beauty. Seeing Medusa up close in person in Detroit, it is a lot nicer than it shows in pictures. I am pretty sure when Dodge drops the top, a Sports bar will still be in place. The RT look is iconic and follows with the Viper Classic shape theme. 2017, silver anniversary seems a fitting place to unveil it. It only makes sense, but the Medusa looks pretty good in real life.

Sick color. What color was this car originally? Is the car new? If it is new, would the change in color cause issues with titling the car being it's not from manufacturer?
