We saw them working on the Gen V ACR stripes at Prefix a couple of weeks before the Homecoming in Detroit. We were asked not to say anything but now the cats out of the bag. I will now wait for the ACR.

A new ACR is likely the only car that would make me trade in my GEN IV ACR, especially if it resembles the ALS series Vipers.

I mean they said it would be as close to the race cars as legally possible. But from what the image looks like, it looks like rebadged TA

I bet that since it is MOPAR they have not desided to even ok it yet... no matter what the "plan" was LOL.
I guess we will know in a couple weeks, we know that it has existed for over a year now and just because Mopar may announce it we know how the plans for GenV stuff fell through after the last big announcement...

Well, we know in 2002 they did the Final Edition red/white striped cars to commemorate the previous racing success, so maybe that white/black/red stripe combo from twitter or perhaps a special car resembling the red/whites that just won the 2014 racing season... Should be exciting...

Those were actually done by Autoform and Woodhouse I believe, not Dodge.

Anyone thinking theres going to be an ACR at SEMA is setting themselves up for disappointment. Its more than likely going to be a TA 2.0 with a new paint scheme that will cost 10k extra.:fpopcorn:

Dodge has been known to "let down". We'll see.

I'm thinking this. Maybe a different splitter combo, but highly doubt they will call the car an ACR.

If they do, I might break tradition and buy one.

Hopefully SEMA will bring out an ACR, Supercharger of any kind, & the Mopar PCM. That way it would satisfy most.

Good points. Maybe if they boost it the exhaust note will change for the better. I'm greedy in that I want side pipes instead of rear but I know that presents some difficulty. I hear with prior gen they had the pipes join before they split to the side and it helped sound but heat was an issue. I don't think this particular model looks good as a vert. I say ACR with full aero, stripes, wing, boost. Just go for it. Might as well go out with a bang.
