British tax return

This example shows the importance of accuracy in your tax return.

The HMRC (Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs) has returned the Tax Return to a man in STANSTED after he apparently answered one of the questions incorrectly.

In response to the question: "Do you have anyone dependant on you?" he wrote:
"2.1 million illegal immigrants, 1.1 million crackheads, 4.4 million unemployable Jeremy Kyle scroungers, 900,000 criminals in over 85 prisons plus 650 idiots in Parliament and the whole of the European Commission".

The HMRC stated that the response he gave was Unacceptable.

The man's response back to HMRC was:

*"Who did I miss out?"*


If only it wasn't so true!

lol, the same can be said in the US in higher numbers other than we don't have to support the queen and Parliament, just a punch of Congressmen and Senators that only look out for the own interests.

I read somewhere that less that 50% of US citizens pay taxes. Our tax system is a FAIL.

What's funny is the beurocracy of sending these back and forth and having someone look at it costs a hell of a lot more than just ignoring it. As I doubt he actually claimed them as dependents expecting an actual write off. Though I'm mostly certain it's a joke that I am intensely over thinking. Hmmm, perhaps I can claim that as a medical condition and collect disability.
