One of the issue with the G5 on the drag strip is the super high (numerically low) 1st gear. That creates a problem in that the car will either bog or spin 80% of the time.
In other words it needs an improvement in the overall 1st gear ratio. The 19" Nitto is 27.5"? tall. A better choice could be the 335x18 Hoosier, it measure 25.7" tall.The 18" oem wheels will fit on the G5 with 1" spacers.
Since I installed a 2010 trans, I no longer need the Hoosiers. If anyone wants them, I will take 50% of the Summit online price
