Steering wheel question.

I've noticed a number of Gen Vs with a gloss black steering wheel on both the SRT and GTS. I think it looks better than the silver. I can't figure it out.

Is this an option? Part of a package?

One had the steering wheel, shift surround and grab handle all gloss black and it gave the interior a more balanced look.

I think the CF interior can't be beat.

Are you sure you've seen production GTS models with gloss black steering wheel trim? Only base models come with that. The ones you've seen may have been aftermarket or pre-production mules.

That's why I bit the bullet and went for the carbon fiber Int/Ext. Looks 110% better than the silver plastic. Even my lexus rx350 has better silver plastic. lol

My F150 has realistic aluminum trim at least. Vs silver paint.

That does kind of bother me, but at least they're consistent. Ford likes to mix bright chrome with satin silvers
