Anyone using anything they would recommend to clean the matte black sidewinder wheels and the exhaust outlet flanges ?
Also, is the Adam's detail spray better that the Meguiar's ultimate detailer ?

Charlie, there are HUNDREDS of good detail sprays on the market. Adam's is great, one of about 1/2 dozen in my detail bag right now. Also like Megs 34 Final Inspection. Go out to Autogeek.net, and you'll have DAYS of reading!
If the Sidewinders are like many wheels today, then they are clear-coated, so treat them as you would paint - polish, wax, etc.

just don't spray any cleaners on them when hot, let cool off- I use simple green for wheels and sidepipes inserts(when completely cold) along with carwash soap

Good question on exhaust. I need to clean mine and need a product. I use Meguiar's product and find the spray wax decent and so eazy to work with.

I really don't wet wash the Vipers anymore unless they really get dirty so I was looking for something that sprays on and works well on the wheels. The black sidewinders are a PITA compared to my chrome Gen2 wheels. I never had black wheels and didn't realize how much dirt they show. I think it's going to be real tough to keep the exhaust outlets clean or even get them clean. It seems like they stain or something.

Any of the good waterless wash products on the market will do a good job as well. Again, go out to Autogeek - they have a whole detailing forum that will tell you way more than you ever want to know about anything related to automobile detailing!
I'm partial to Adam's Rinseless, but Ultima also has a good waterless product.

Clean the exhaust tips then use some Flitz polish on a rag, takes a few but cleans them up. I'm sure you could use some other metal polishes to achieve similar results. As for the wheels, just set 30 mins. aside, grit your teeth and you will get results.

I rummaged through the cabinet out in the garage and found a small jar of Mother's Mag and Aluminum polish and it worked like a charm.
