I'm in. October 17th. I was already flying out on the 16th before the invite came. Woo hoo. The perks of buying just get better every month. Those who keep waiting to buy can keep watching from the top of the fence.

Sounds great, this is a good perk. However, I wish they gave us more than three weeks notice. I can't make it, I'm tracking my car at Buttonwillow Raceway Oct 18 - 19. Hopefully more dates will open up.

I think more dates are coming. Invitation says this is the first.

Too bad it isn't during SEMA week, that would be perfect for a few of us. I'll be in France or UK on this one, doh!

May I suggest bringing a couple of Hellcats to run the Quarter mile. The track is right beside the drag strip and some of the group could do that while waiting on their turn on the road course.

What the eff?? I just used my free SRT Track Experience at Watkins Glen!!

This last-minute notice thing is for the birds.

Not that I have the PTO to fly to Vegas anyway, but still...

If SRT would add a few more locations, somewhat like the standard Track Experience, I'd be all over this!!

HAHA Got back to you on Twitter. I just saw your response with the date. My second daughter is due on the 20th of October. Heading to Vegas for a car weekend that close to the due date would end in a swift divorce lol. I REALLY hope they do another one because I really want to go, and it made my day that they are including Vipers. Thanks SRT for hosting and running the event and I hope I can use my voucher for next year.

You could drag race a Viper. Or you could run slower times in a hellcat if that's your thing.

I was super excited when Rob (2door) sent me that tweet until I saw how soon it was. Hopefully they'll do another in the Spring.

Why not both. You know same day, same driver.

You certainly could. I'd be more interested in taking it on a road course and throwing it around.

Glad SRT did this, but three weeks notice is hard to work around. Anyone that can go have fun.

In the twisties the Viper I think would win hands down, but in a straight line, the Hellcat would be a handful. The hellcat is NHRA Certified 11.20 at 125 and 10.80 at 126 on drag radials. I think that's pretty good. We all know the viper is not the easiest car to launch. I think it would be very interesting race for sure. I know Nineball ran high 10 in stock trim, but took some good driving. From what I have heard the A8 Hellcat seem to be a sold 10 sec car ( good driver not needed). Just floor it and the car will do the rest. I guess time will tell.

I'm fully aware of what it ran and what our cars run with good drivers. When it comes to 1/4 driving that's my thing :D 124-125 mph doesn't scare me. And of course it would be a handful, but it is interesting that the Vipers weakest performance venue (drag racing) against the Hellcats strength would be a close race.

Anyways this is about the Viper for once.

She will understand, she'll keep the little one in for another day... Ya feel me doe bra? I maken it happen for ya bro?

It seems to some, no matter what Dodge/ SRT "GIVES" Viper owners it just is not enough. I can only imagine what kind of monies, transportation, insurances and etc etc are costing. :t0135:

Awesome, thank you Dodge, SRT, great idea and event. Won't be able to make it but would love to attend one closer to home. What a great car backed by a great company. Just another example of positive change to support the car and keep it moving forward!

Lots of bro's and bra's in there bro. Sorry man I wish I could but on such short notice, baby due on or about the same date, makes it tough. Like is said I'll catch the next one so I can plan ahead for it. Or when the SRT Experience comes to Houston they can include Vipers for Viper owners ;)

What exactly are they "giving" to Viper owners? If you had bought an SRT Jeep, Challenger, or Charger, they come to your city (or one within driving distance) and let you drive the Autocross and track in a car just like the one you own.

Now if you spend $100,000+ on the most expensive car they build you get a couple weeks notice so you can fly yourself to Las Vegas, pay for a Hotel for the weekend, so that you can drive a car similar to what you purchased.

This solution is better than nothing and although its the worst option presented for all of the SRT platforms we should be grateful.

Like I said earlier its not optimal but it is better than nothing. I will try to go to the next one as I would love to spend some time in a Viper on track with some of the SRT instructors.

Actually there is no track experience in Canada but your vin qualifies so if you do decide that you want to attend one in the US, you're more than welcome.

Are you serious? I couldn't be happier that this is happening. To call it a gift is a bit of a stretch though. Even though I will already be there, having to pay $200.00 for my guest isn't chump change. I am sure the t-shirt and hoagie will be worth it though. Any way, come by and introduce yourself if you decide to spend the $500-600.00 it will cost you to get there. Maybe a group of us could have dinner at one of the great restaurants in town.

I just remembered that I have a couple of coupons for 2 free nights at the Rio Hotel. Good Sun-Thursday. Could be used on the 15th and 16th. Pm if interested.

Great idea. Would attend but I'm busy. It's not far enough advanced notice. Most of us have family lives and professional careers so we need a little more notice to attend. Really sucks because I would have loved to have gone.

Good ! Hope the VIN also qualifies to get the $15,000 Voucher
That would really 'make my day' !

I remember talking with the SRT Team when they came to town here in San Diego with the Gen V's, about the track experience they mentioned that even if I don't purchase a Gen V I could still attend for like a $600 fee?

Anyone know if this is true? I'd really like to get out on the LV track in a Viper or heck even my own ACR for that matter...

I don't see a contact number on the site.... Anyone with more info on this would be appreciated....

Unfortunately, this is for 5th Gen Viper's only, its quite stupid, I can't even let my father or wife use my second VIN to attend.
