soft top removal

1994 soft top. Unlatched two front by visors. Tried to lift top off, won.t release, what am I doing wrong?

I don't have a soft top for my RT, but I think there are more latches holding it in on the back side. Hopefully someone else can chime in with more guidance.

release the latches in the front. There are also 2 in the back that reclose when you let go. I release the back and put a towell under the top then lift off the front. Well at least on my hard top.

On the back latches, run your hand between the rear brace and the top. There will be a latch on each side. Press down on the latch and bump the top up on each side.

Jiggle the latches a little while you lift up on the top. May help.

Those 2 rear latches are like 'scissor clips' that have one leg/arm that you have to pull-pinch down...
