Bought a Gen V

So after a lot of back and forth in my own mind, I decided to jump in and buy a new Gen V. Andy (Flatout) had offered to let me drive his TA (thanks for trusting me dude) but in the end I didn't need to. My wife and I stopped in at Tomball Dodge/Viper Exchange yesterday so that she could see the new cars and Bernie made us a heck of a deal on a 2013 SRT plus looked after me in regards to trading my ACR. I seriously could not have passed on this deal and still feel good about myself. Bernie threw the track pack wheels & tires in the deal and Morgan (Viper Tech guru) had the car ready for me this afternoon. After a little drive to the gas station (word on the street is Bernie's card has no limit :)) I was off with my new Gen V. I will admit I had a little sad moment when Bernie took my VVO ACR, but after driving home through the rain, collecting my wife, and going for a little drive together, I'm satisfied that I made the right choice.

1st thing this morning, before going to get the car, I put a call in to JonB, and the 2 piece StopTech rotors are on the way. I'm going to have fun building a little track beast out of this one.

So pumped! Couldn't be happier dude, I know you'll like it and have a blast with it. Great color as well :D. Funny thing is I almost bought that car when I bought my Gen V, I loved the caramel seats with the black.

Congratulations! I'm sure you'll really enjoy it. I recommend the Advanced Aero pieces as part of your track beast mods...they integrate well on the car and don't look like tacked on styling bits like on some cars ;)

tough choice, having a 1 of 1 color combo and an ACR makes any decision difficult. that interior looks great on the black car.

Congratulations! I feel your pain about trading your old car. I'm thinking of upgrading but my current car is just so much fun and it has been "bullet proof" reliable! Who knows, I may have to keep it and make room for a Gen V.

Thank you for the congrats . As far as the Aero, I'm going to wait and see what extended version looks like. Same as the current TA only a little higher is the what I had heard. Might be the ticket.

I'm going to track the chit out of this car whereas I always felt like the 1 of 1 should be more of a show car. Hopefully someone who just wants to track a little here and there will buy it.

Some here might remember the 99 ACR at the TX roundup a few years back that was Black w/flat black stripes. I always liked that look and am going to do the same with my Gen V. Then I'll get the clear bra done.
