window re-learning

so my passenger window now is going up to far. I thought the relearn procedure was hold all the way in down position for 5 sec and then all the way up for 5 sec.

It is not working for mine as the next time I try to close the window, it goes up, then comes down half way (as it a finger was detected).

Am I missing a step in the relearn process.

The auto down half way is what's making the relearn not work. I don't know what I did for it to stop that. It could have been a certain number if cycles if the key with the window in the down position though. Once you get it to stop auto downing the hold for 5 seconds at the top and bottom trick should work.

My driver side window came down to 1/4 up when I tried to auto up it all the way once. It was a fluke and never did it again. Weird. Did u try shutting down & restarting?

I got it fixed. Just followed the procedure above and on the 4th time, it fixed it. strange in that I have no idea what caused the problem or why the 1-3rd attempt with the procedure did not fix it.

Does this procedure cure the wind noise that sounds like your windows aren't rolled all the way up, but they are?

Getting wind noise at highways speeds from both windows. Sounds like they aren't rolled up all the way.

I believe the relearn process is supposed to be done 3 times. Hence why it worked on try 4.

Door open or closed? Key on ACC, or ON?
Hold all the way down for 5 sec, and all the way up for 5 secs, a few times in a row?

Door closed. Car can be running or in ACC. Down, hold for 5 secs, Up hold for 5 secs. Repeat three times.
