I am looking for a good street pad for my gen3. I was looking at Hawk HPS for the front and rear. Any thoughts on them? Also looking at EBC red stuff, but leaning more twords the Hawk. Any other recommendations?

Yes, you're on the right track....definitely go Hawk. Used the EBC pads in the past, but Hawk's have been my favorite. Have used both the HPS and Ceramics. They stop great and no noise whatsoever. I think Roe Racing sells them if you want to support a club sponsor.

Hawk pads for sure.
HP's would be great for the street.
I keep my race pads on all the time (Hawk DTC 70/60's), I am more at the track than anywhere else.

Any other recommendations? The Hawks are by far the best for the street and low dust too. I just put a new set on my ACR for street use only and they rock.

The Hawk HPS pads work great for a street application. They are fairly low dust and we use them frequently on both modified and unmodified street cars. They are available from us here.

I have had Hawk pads on every sports car I have owned in the last 15 years ... definitely a good choice

I've never tried the hawks, I love the Porterfield R4-S for the street, and the R4 for the race track. The R4-S is the low noise and low dust street pads, and the R4 is the only thing that would stop my 96 GTS at La Guna Seca (1:36 flat)and Sears Point (1:49). Been using them for 20+ years. Road racing my Porsche's and track events in my 96 GTS and now 2008 SRT-10.
