View Full Version : Ice cream cruise at werner park

Is anyone thinking about going to Werner Park this Saturday? It starts at 2:00 until 9:00! It's suppose to be one of the biggest car shows in the area!
Judy went last year and said there were lots and lots of cool cars! It's $10 to park your car in the show area otherwise just to walk around it's free!
I found it on Facebook "Ice Cream Cruise 2014"! Hit "see more" for additional info! What do you think?
On Sunday, everyone can go to Mid America Motorplex to race or just watch!

This brings in a lot of cars from the area. Have had more than 2000 cars in previous years. Would be great exposure for us.

I have attended this event 2 years now. I really like going to this event until It got so big. Trying to bring one of your own cars there is a complete nightmare. You can sit in traffic for more than 20 to 30 minutes to move 40 feet once you get near the event to try to park. If you're willing to park far away and walk up to the festivities it's a great time. For me there are way to many loose cannons milling around. This included being in the VIP area. It is a GREAT time and really fun!

What josh said...I would rather not take viper and just walk around and look..

Went last year as well, it was crazy and won't take the Viper again. However tonight starting at 7:00 there is a pre-event gathering at 90th & Maple(just north). Thought about possibly heading to D&M's and then maybe driving up there for a bit. Thoughts?

The gathering tonight is much smaller and they go for a cruise a little later in the evening (will not partake in that).

I am heading to Freddy's on 72nd and 370 till about 6 ish then to DNM.

Forgot to mention, it is at the Sonic on 90th closer to Maple, west side of street.

Bruce, if I get out of the house, I may swing by Freddy's too.
