A few questions about the alleged refresh.

I was disappointed no refresh announcement was made during the NVE recently.

Then I thought
1-Is/was the 2015 refresh a definite? Or just wishful thinking?
2-Has Dodge confirmed any of the rumors?
3-Is anyone else thinking the lawyers got involved and are the reason for the delay? Like with the PCM everyone is excited for.

I got my first Viper a month ago and I'm excited for the future of the car. I truly hope the wait is worth it.

Hissstory:

Dodge learned 3 times (96-03-07) that announcing upgrades too soon results in sluggish overstocks of prior MY.

They already HAVE overstocks!

Waaaay back in 2008, a 'refresh' was announced (SURPRISE) for a mid-year '08 ACR option package. I cancelled my '08 order and converted to an 08 ACR. No +HP needed. [My 08 and 09 ACRs were both featured in X-Box-360 games....Microsoft was anxious to get em in games ASAP.] ACRs SOLD like crazy, right thru til 1010. No extra HP.

I suspect that any mid-year refresh of the MY 2015 might get announced a bit closer to their window to sell them...

Lawyers are always a problem.

I suspect there were other forces at bay, which delayed announcements. I also feel we will hear something in the Fall. Need to move on the existing stock.

I really wish I had an extra $25k lying around and got fair market for one of the cars in my mini collection. I would be basking in the deals right now on a G5.

The published product plan showed a refresh in 2015. To me that means the product will start hitting dealers in 2015 which would mean it is a 2016 Model Year refresh.

2015 is going to be 5hp; 1- new interior color option and 2 new exterior color options (maybe 3).

That's just my GUESS. Just a GUESSTIMATE.

I just cant comprehend why folks can't understand that the worst thing that can happen to any product or service is having a supply without a demand. The lack of announcement wasn't an adverse reflection on lawyers or on marketing; the car sold poorly. So much so that production throttled back and the factory even closed. Why then do people expect news on building more, new models? A refresh was projected for mid 2015 which is one year away.
