Hope you guys can join us again this year!
Third Annual NE PA Revved Up River Ramble (formerly known as the Woodstock Cruise) August 16, 2014 (Rain Date is August 17th).
Charlie’s Cell is (908) 581-8555
We will be meeting at the Weis Market at 19 Village Ctr., Route 209 & 402
Marshalls Creek (e. Stroudsburg), PA. 18301 at 9:30. If you want to make a weekend out of this event, there are many activities in and around Milford, PA. http://visitpikecountypa.com/ . From Marshall’s Creek, we will go north on Route 209 and then across the river into New Jersey and visit High Point State Park. The view from High Point Monument, at 1,803 feet above sea level, is a spectacular panorama of rich farmland and forest, soft hills and lush valleys in three states. The blue line of the Delaware River divides the verdant ridges of New Jersey from those of Pennsylvania. High Point offers superb trails for hikers and skiers and quiet spots for campers and anglers. We will then venture into New York and travel up scenic Route 97 stopping at local vista points like Hawks Nest, and the Roebling Bridge, and river towns such as Narrowsburg, Cochecton, and Callicoon along 97. Then we will cross back into PA and end up at my house in Lackawaxen, PA Pike County for a Bar B Q, Bocce, and lakefront activities. Because Matamoras is where PA, NJ, and NY meet, we hope to have these clubs join in this event. These are all fantastic roads to let our snakes stretch out. Hope to see you at the River Ramble.
