Picked up the 2014 Infiniti QX80 for the winter.

5.6l V8 pushing 400hp, 3rd row, theater package. Very comfortable and has a great presence, only a few inches shorter than a Hummer and a lot classier & more luxurious.

Not a big silver or grey fan but the Platnum Graphite color on the vehicle gave a rich look and so far I'm satisfied. A lot less costly that the Range Rover and I like it better. If you're considering an SUV for upcoming winter or for a family vehicle, I recommend a test drive

Is that the predecessor or the QX56?

QX80. Pics do it little justice. Much bigger presence than the MB Lexus, Porsche & Beamer suv's. really needs to be seen in person. Just under 76" in height

Very nice and I looked at one but had to help Ralphie out and taking delivery this week on my custom order 2014 Durango R/T. Towing 7400 lbs. for the boat and an awesome exhaust note. In bright red of course. Infiniti is really nice and BIG !!!

Yeah I shopped it against the new Range Rover, which felt a lot smaller in comparison

Glad you did not get the Rover as its primarily for off road or messy conditions use but all the yuppies at least where I live have it polished and will never take it off the city streets. That would be a sin.

Cool that its so big and has value to the Range Rover, but man that thing defines "bulbous".

Yeah even the BMW, Cayenne, etc., seemed small and even soccer mom like.

Enjoyed my heated steering wheel on the drive in today :)

Infiniti manufactures and services with quality! Been through 2 FX's with no problems and fun driving. Congrats and best of luck!

BTW- Gray/Silver/Graphite is the best color to look clean even when the car is filthy. Take it from a lazy owner. :D

I never really looked at the QX80. The height and width are getting near Excursion size, length is 16" shorter. That should make it easier for people who park a lot in tight quarters. Nice vehicle, good for winter and doing some towing has 8500lb rating, not bad.

Test drove the QX80 today. Nice but disappointing.

the good- greats seats, excellent rear seat room-actually probably the best rear seat space in ANY SUV, good quality materials.

the bad- HUGE A pillar obstructs view out, puny rear window wiper, ride is so NOT buttery smooth- felt every road defect.

I though it would be better. I would pass on this SUV. Just my opinion.

QX80 is a very nice SUV indeed. I personally would have gone the SRT8 Jeep route for that kind of money.

Each to their own though. if we all had the same taste then we would all be driving Vipers.

Enjoy the vehicle its a beauty.

The size is what i like; most other SUV's seem puny & like a car. Been using snow mode lately; much more effective than my sports cars.

yeah i need something to replace my BMW 335i which lease is up in June. Maybe an SUV... Can't figure out what I like. Wife likes the Jeep Grand Cherokee for herself.

I like the large MB SUV, or perhaps even a truck.
